What is your legacy?

I consider myself a person who loves writing about learnings during life and experience than top-notch buzzwords that may resonate stronger even in my profile. The reason I chose to do this is that buzzwords are temporal, but learnings are forever.

I had the chance in my podcast to ask my guests what they consider their legacy is, and for a few was a tricky question, either because they haven’t thought about it yet or because they realized that they should think more to get a compelling answer.

The last months were thoughtful, and I realized that my legacy is to bring impact. Impact on people, on the process on how we work, how we live, and how we learn. This impact can be represented in different depth levels, although any minor impact I make means fulfillment.

In my backstories about impacting people’s lives positively, from giving them work opportunities, transfer to different countries, voice, exposure, or my time to provide my point of view on how to address different situations.

As I mentioned, the impact you produce, if it is within a work environment, can measure it on KPIs. If the effect is on people, the measure is the affection, feedback, partnership, and kindness you get back, and when that happens, fulfillment for me is a checked mark.

Have you ever thought about what your legacy is? I love to know which are those!
